North Korea Missle Control

About Me

My name is Richard, and I spend far too much time thinking and too little time doing anything with it.

I live in Japan, and when I’m not at work, I play the piano, read books that I try not to let go over my head, and take (rather poor) photographs. I like to cook, but I haven’t done it much lately. I like to go out and paint the town red and there’s few places better in the world to do it than here. I speak close-to-fluent Japanese, pretty awful French, and rather pitiful Mandarin Chinese. I’m applying to Graduate Schools (International Relations) for entrance in Fall 2010.

In the summer of 2009, I went to Beijing mostly in order to go to North Korea to see what was there. I’ve been told that I express myself better through writing than any other medium, so it’s my hope that working through my pictures and my experiences, and putting them up in front of an audience will help me get through them.
